How this Blog can help our network...

Dear IPMN Friends,

This is an example of a post on the blog here from an "approved author."  Anyone can comment on any post but to put up a new "post," you need to be invited and have a gmail account (a google email account) which is free and similar to getting a yahoo email account.

Rather than sending "editorial comments" to the active yahoo group, which is delivered via people's email inboxes, we can post our opinions on articles here and others can comment.  This way, those who are interested can bookmark this site and come and visit and comment all they want without clogging up email inboxes. We can also subscribe to "follow" the blog which means you get notified when there is a new posting.

Additionally, if we get a lot of traffic going on the site, we can opt to have ads on it and make money!  I mean, why not make money on all the time we spend back and forth-ing among the network members!

Please comment below this post as to how you feel about this.

Many thanks!

Happy New Year!
Cheers,
Noushin

The Illusion of Victory

If Hamas is destroyed, a more radical group will replace it. Israel's security depends on wiser action

The second is for Hamas to realise that its interests are not served by violence, and Israel is here to stay. And the third is for the world to acknowledge that this conflict is unlike any other in history. It is uniquely intricate and sensitive - a conflict between two peoples who are both deeply convinced of their right to live on the same very small piece of land. This is why neither diplomacy nor military action can resolve this conflict.
